Service in 3D scanning for 3D printing, (reverse) engineering, CNC manufacturing. High-accuracy industrial 3D scanning at your fingertips.

Package 1: Single STL file

The result of a 3D scan is an STL file (Stereolithography or Standard Tessellation Language) This file is made up of a very large number of triangles that make up a 3D model.

You can use these to process yourself in a 3D drawing program to create a 3D CAD file, for example, or even 3D print them directly (or have them printed)!

Please note, this file is a 3D scan of the actual product, so all existing blemishes and discrepancies are in there!

We can make minor adjustments in this, think mirroring, plugging holes, removing damage, etc. Digital repairs such as (digitally) piecing together broken parts are also possible.

Another option is to extract so-called features, such as a measurement, contour or plane.

Example

Small Object

Typical example of a small product, in this case for model making. Regarding size, this is the lower limit due to detail.

Example

Partial Car Scan

This customer is converting a classic Volvo 850 to an electric drive, for this he needed 3D data of the available space. The car was 3D scanned on location.

CAD features

After a weld repair of a crack in this engine block, the customer needed geometric information to repair the product. This makes this project a typical example of a 3D scan in which a number of features (such as cylinders, circles and planes) are determined with the help of the software. These were used to reconstruct the valve seats and combustion chamber.
